CÍTRICO 

         Is a documentation project of abstract feelings that are being exposed during a friend’s road trip. Expressed by pieces that are being placed on, it is a reflection of balance between what’s left in the car and what’s chosen to come along with (the same way feelings do). It is a research for wild acts that were needed to be found and the constant search for an ambiance of creation in large unknown spaces. It is a practice of presence of the moment, whether is an act of self expression or the simple ritual of -having a drink-. It is an act of appreciation to the food that nourished us during this time and the one that turned to came along with. It is the freedom within us.

The images were created with objects as subjects, being the ingredients such as fruit or vegetables of the region that were found in local flea markets along the road. The documentation was chosen to be captured in 35mm analog film to avoid having any distraction of the images until the trip concluded. Even though it started as a simple documentation of a personal experience, Citrico evolved into a collaborative aesthetic between a food designer and a photographer, where food was decontextualized of the urban use and put around nature.
